This is a very nice site, facilities are clean, showers hot, staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, driving around is breathtaking, birds. Nice site, helpful and friendly staff. Excellent showers. Swithered about the bird watching safari as we are not really birdwatchers but thoroughly enjoyed our 4 hours with Valentino who taught us so much about the area's history and culture as well as the plants and wildlife. Stayed en route down to Portugal.
Pitches are very tired, as area quite barren. Reception staff, campsite manager and staff in restaurant very helpful. Free wifi. Excellent meals in restaurant. We were allowed to keep our trailer connected and we could use two pitches. Beautiful area. Open all year so can be used as stop over. Caters for late arrivals. Area outside for late arrivals. Will visit again as handy for central Spain. Our first visit but very impressed with the site, only an over night stop but will look to stay longer next year.

More than 3, campsites, inspected annually Earn your money back in four nights. Reviews Average rating: 8. Filter by. Sort by. We stayed 6th to 10th June A excellent situation for visiting the National Parque, The staff are welcoming and most helpful with your language, Provisions are limited at the small shop but offset by the excellent restaurant, serious shopping at Pasencia 10km, The Shower and Toilets and Laundry are well kept, cleaned every day, unlike the camping pitches, little or NO maintenance and ar mainly dirt and the odd grass pitch, many have large depressions which can fill with water in wet periods, and dust in the dry ones, a real pity more work would make the top site, still very popular even with the shortcomings.

After, head to Toledo instead of spending the night in Ciudad Real. Several private parking lots in the city centre. Toledo is known as the City of the Three Cultures because for many years Christians, Jews, and Muslims lived peacefully together in its narrow hilly streets.
